What data we process and why
- Orders: name, address, phone number, email and billing details, to manage the purchase, shipping, invoicing and warranty. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
- Enquiries: the data you give us by email or through the form, so we can reply. Legal basis: your consent or pre-contractual measures.
- Customer account: if you create an account, to manage your orders. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Website statistics: browsing data, as described in the Cookie policy. Legal basis: your consent.
How long we keep your data
For as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and commercial law and to deal with any claims.
Who we share your data with
- Carriers and the Sendcloud shipping platform, to deliver your order.
- Payment providers (PayPal and card payment institutions), to collect payment.
- Technical service providers, such as email (IONOS), who process data on our behalf.
- Public authorities, when required by law.
Some providers, such as PayPal or Google (only if you accept analytics cookies), may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case they do so with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@sailoq.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
